Live Nation WWE Mayhem Sweepstakes Official Rules

Promotion begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on June 20, 2008 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. PT on July 23, 2008 (“Promotion Period”).

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Promotion open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, and Canada excluding Quebec, 13 years of age or older as of June 20, 2008. Void in Quebec and where prohibited by law.

TO ENTER. Visit www.LiveNation.com/MayhemSweeps during the Promotion Period and follow the instructions to complete the on-line official entry form to enter the Sweepstakes. Entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. PT, July 23, 2008. Limit one entry per person/e-mail address. Although subsequent attempts to enter may be received, only Entrant’s first entry during the specified Sweepstakes entry period will count. No third party entry or entry through sweepstakes service permitted. Employees, directors, officers and agents of Live Nation Worldwide, Inc. (“Sponsor”), its subsidiary companies, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies involved in this Sweepstakes; and members of the immediate families (parent, child, sibling and spouse of each) or households of any of the above are prohibited from entering the Sweepstakes. Sponsor and/or its agents are not responsible for any lost, late, misdirected or incomplete entries.

Neither the Sponsor, nor its respective officers, directors, employees or agents are responsible for interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions or technical failures, Internet Service Provider/network/website accessibility or availability, garbled or jumbled transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic; including without limitation the incomplete, incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found tampering (or attempting to tamper) with the entry process, the website, or the Sweepstakes. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is in violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. In case of dispute as to identity of entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorized account subscriber of the email address submitted at the time of entry, who must comply with these Sweepstakes Rules. “Authorized account subscriber” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel/suspend/modify the Sweepstakes, if it becomes corrupted in any manner, or due to fraud or other occurrences beyond Sponsor's control it cannot be conducted as originally planned. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor will award the prizes in a random drawing from all eligible entries received prior to cancellation.

DRAWING. The winner will be randomly selected in a drawing on or about July 23, 2008 from among all eligible entries received by the Administrator, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. The potential winner will be notified by phone. The Sponsor will make 3 attempts, within a 24-hour time period, to contact the potential winner. No messages will be left on answering machines/voicemails. If Sponsor is unable to reach potential winner within this time frame, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate may be selected by the Sponsor, if time permits. Odds of winning a prize depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

PRIZE. (1) Grand Prize: A trip for two (2) to WWE SummerSlam scheduled for August 17, 2008 in Indianapolis, IN, and to the WWE Mayhem Event held August 19, 2008 in Darien Lake, NY. Trip consists of one way trip coach airfare for winner and one (1) guest from a major commercial U.S. airport near winner’s residence to Indianapolis, IN, one way trip coach airfare for winner and one (1) guest from to Indianapolis, IN, to Buffalo, NY, and one way trip coach airfare for winner and one (1) guest from Buffalo, NY to a major commercial U.S. airport near winner’s residence, hotel accommodations for 2 nights/3 days (one standard room, double occupancy) in both Indianapolis, IN, and Darien Lake, NY, two tickets to the WWE SummerSlam in Indianapolis, IN, two tickets to the Mayhem event at Darien Lake, NY, and $500 awarded in the form of a check made payable to the winner. In addition, the Grand Prize winner will receive: an Xbox gaming console and ten (10) games (titles to be determined by Sponsor); an Ibanez Mayhem custom guitar; a Tama Mayhem drum kit; a year’s supply of Rockstar energy drinks (awarded in the form of coupons for 12 cases); a $500 Hot Topic gift card (gift card subject to all terms and conditions stated thereon); a WWE iPod Nano; a WWE SummerSlam Anthology DVD set; a 1-year subscription to Revolver magazine. Total Approximate Retail Value of prize $8,710.

Winner and guest must be able to travel on Sponsor-specified dates, or prize will be forfeited in its entirety and may be awarded to an alternate winner, time permitting. Winner and guest are responsible for all necessary travel documents including passport if necessary. Guest must be 18 years of age or older (except residents of Alabama and Nebraska, who must be 19 years of age or older) at time of ticketing prize. All travel-related expenses not set forth herein, including but not limited to, ground transportation, meals, gratuities and incidental hotel and personal expenses, are solely the responsibility of winner. Actual retail value of trip may vary and will depend on airfare fluctuations and winner’s point of departure/return. Travel and accommodations are subject to change and availability and restrictions may apply. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. Any difference between stated approximate retail value and actual value of prize will not be awarded. Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary and comply with all airport and venue security requirements. Travel accommodations at the discretion of Sponsor. All Entrants understand that travel, whether in civilized or remote areas and whether by plane, automobile, or other conveyance, or by foot, on land and in the air, contains some inherent element of risk of accident, illness, injury, loss or death, which may be caused by negligence, forces of nature or other agencies, known or unknown. Winner understands that these risks may be present before, during and after the trip. Winner and guest must accept the terms and conditions of the WWE SummerSlam and WWE Mayhem Events and its management, or prize in its entirety is subject to forfeiture. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor and World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. from and against any and all injuries, losses, damages, claims and actions of any kind arising from or relating to participation in the Sweepstakes, or acceptance, possession, use, misuse or nonuse of the prize that may be awarded, including, without limitation, actual, direct, indirect, consequential, punitive, special, or other damages.

Winner and guest must sign a Liability Release in which they accept the inherently dangerous nature and risk in attending the WWE SummerSlam or WWE Mayhem Event, including but not limited to personal injury and/or death, acknowledge that his/her participation in this prize event is voluntary, and he/she assumes the risk of such factors and occurrences, and agrees that the Sponsor shall not be in any way responsible for any resulting injury and/or death. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend or cancel the participation of any winner or guest due to non-compliance with any security procedure or inappropriate behavior or misconduct. Prize will be awarded provided it is claimed properly in accordance with these Rules. No transfer of prize allowed. No cash redemption of prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize for one of equal or greater value if prize becomes unavailable. If an eligible minor wins the Grand Prize, prize will be awarded on his/her behalf to his/her parent or legal guardian. Prize winner (and is/her parent/legal guardian if winner is an eligible minor) will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and, where legal, Publicity Release, within two (2) days of the date printed on the prize notification. If Canadian resident is selected as a potential winner he or she will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question as a condition of being declared a winner. If claimant is under the age of majority, a parent/legal guardian may answer the skill-testing question on their behalf. If the selected entrant is unable to correctly answer the skill-testing question, the selected entrant will be deemed to have forfeited the prize and an alternate winner will be selected from among all remaining eligible entries. In addition, a potential Canadian winner (or their parent/legal guardian if potential winner is a minor) will be required to execute a Declaration and Release Form to release Sponsor, and its agencies and representatives from liability with respect to contests and prizes within (2) days of attempted delivery of same. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected, if time permits, from among the remaining entries in the drawing pool. If Prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, or any prize documentation is not submitted as required by Sponsor, the corresponding prize will be forfeited.

GENERAL. Taxes on prize are solely the responsibility of winner. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final in all matters relating to this promotion. Participants waive the right to assert as a cost of winning a prize any and all costs of redemption and any liability which might arise from redeeming or seeking to redeem said prize, or from use, misuse, acceptance or possession of said prize. By participating, entrants agree to release and hold Sponsor, World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries and agents, including without limitation their advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective directors, employees and officers (collectively “Releasees”), harmless from any and all liability arising from or in connection with participation in this promotion, any breach of entrant’s warranties and representations in these Official Rules, any use of the entry submitted by Sponsor or its agents, or the awarding, receipt or use of any prize. Entry constitutes permission for Sponsor, WWE and their respective designees to use winner’s name, likeness, voice, performance, hometown and state for advertising and promotional purposes in any and all media at their discretion without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. By entering, entrants further agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, participant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of California or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of California. By entering, entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts located in Los Angeles, California.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. Sponsor and other Releasees are not responsible for any attempt by an entrant or other individual to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion, including but not limited to any fraudulent claims, may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages from any such individual, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Sweepstakes Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Participant engaging in any of the foregoing activities may be disqualified and will forfeit any prize won.
